Rii Mini Wireless KeyboardHaving a Trackpad is necessary if you are looking to get full time use out of these mini wireless keyboards. The Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard has just that and then some. This keyboard has more keys then some of the larger competitors on the market, providing a range of f1-f8 and numerous other keys. Unlike many other keyboards on the market, the Rii deals with its “cluttered keys” in a unique way. Once turning the device vertical, it turns into remote mode making it easier to use the Trackpad. Keyboard batteries getting low, do not worry about it on this model just plug it in using its USB port to charge it back up in no time. Coming in at $49.99 this keyboard has everything you could want. These features are all unique and viable, yet at some times with this keyboard seem a bit sluggish. There are times when turning the device vertical is not recognized or may get stuck in this mode. Other than that, this makes a great device to unwire your desktop. |

Logitech diNovo Mini Portable KeyboardThe Logitech DiNovo Mini takes the holy grail of mini wireless keyboards. Despite coming in at $149.99, this device provides a long list of features, many only found with the DiNovo. The keys on this bad boy are backlit and stand out even in daylight. In addition, this keyboard helps protect your investment by its hard cover top making it invincible and stylish. The feature that makes it stand out, however, is the multi-purposed “ClickPad”. The ClickPad is the devices Trackpad. It has all the functions making it useful for the mouse feature, but it can also switch modes to use it as a d-pad or media controller. This feature helps keep the keyboard size at a minimum, but some users report after a few months of use they would have to either reinstall the drivers or replace the device due to a system glitch that made responses delayed or non-existent. When this device works, it will be your best friend, for sure. |

Overall Preference?
Despite all the cool features with the DiNovo, I personally will be sticking with the Rii. It seems not only to be more dependable, but the remote feature among others are rather useful. Moreover, the price is awesome for a mini wireless keyboard. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. Just be honest and admit that your wired jungle of a workspace has taken over your office. Now you can move on to a stress and wire free environment.
