The Das Professional Silent Model S keyboard was originally an IBM model and again, it is the same as any other keyboard is. Not only is it silent, but it also offers extra features that the others do not. For example, it allows the user to switch easily from a PC to a Mac and vice versa.

Additionally, a user can type on two separate computers at the same time with its dual connectors. In addition to programmable Media keys, it also offers programmable “F” keys and a number pad, all of which are encased in a silver and black color. This Logitech silent keyboard surpasses the others and at only $50 from most retailers, is a better deal overall.

Silent keyboards are very different from quiet keyboards. The quiet type simply lower the amount of sound that comes form typing and most keyboards these days are, in fact, the quiet type. However, it takes the best engineering to produce a truly silent keyboard, and the Logitech keyboard is the winner overall in this category. With the silent strokes of the keys and the added features, there is no need to look anywhere else; especially considering it is the most affordable silent keyboard in the bunch.
