The device looks very nice, as it is black with offset onyx colored keys and when it is lit up, it looks very slick. This keyboard is also designed for maximum comfort of the user. It is easy to set up as it uses a USB port, which can be found on any computer today. It has a zero slope design, and an attached wrist design that supports wrists. What is also nice that other designs do not have, is that you can adjust the level of light. A negative aspect is that included with the Eclipse’s specs it says that it is comparable with Windows 98, SE, 2000, XP, and ME. It is possible that it works with vista and Windows 7 but it is not worth risking $52.99 to find out. In addition, another keyboard made by the same company with a very similar design has been known to have the letters of the keys to wear off and become only blobs of light; hopefully this one does not have the same problem.

Of course this is easily remedied, but could be a problem if someone has it attached to their laptop and wants to save battery power. The best of these three would have to be the simple black LED keyboard. It does not miss out on function like the Glowtype, and it is compatible with the newer systems, unlike the Eclipse. However, if you happen to have an older operating system the Saitek Eclipse might be a better choice as it is only twenty dollars more and has some nice extra features.
